The MT-360 Microtube Mixer brings efficient mixing capabilities right to the workbench, incubator, or cold room. It's perfectly suited for procedures such as yeast cell extraction, DNA and RNA extraction, and protein suspension. And it eliminates the tedious job of vortexing samples by hand. The MT-360 mixer holds thirty six 1.5 ml microtubes. 0.5 ml microtubes can also be accommodated with adapters. When mixing 0.5 ml tubes, the Tube Restraining Plate hoods the smaller tubes securely. The microtubes rack is easily detachable for carrying samples and can also serve as a general-purpose Microtube stand. The MT-360 Microtube Mixer is particularly effective when paired with the TOMY PMC-060 Capsulefuge. Together, they comprise a "DNA mini-factory" in less than a square foot of benchspace.
